EXPERIENCED ATTORNEY JOINS DA’S OFFICE

Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua announced today the hiring of Kim Clement as a new deputy district attorney. Kim received her Bachelor of Arts degree in American History at Scripps Women’s College in Claremont, California and her law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law.

Ms. Clement is an experienced trial attorney, with over 20 years experience including five years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California. Her experience includes complex class action and shareholder suits, as well as criminal and civil trials in state and federal courts. She has been a partner at Senneff, Kelly, Kimmelman & Beach and a Chief Trial Deputy for the San Francisco City Attorney.

Kim will be assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit which prosecutes crimes against children, women and the elderly. Mr. Passalacqua stated, "Ms. Clement will be a wonderful addition to the District Attorney’s Office."
