NEW CONFERENCE ROOM DEDICATED FOR RETIRED DISTRICT ATTORNEY
GENE L. TUNNEY

Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua announced today the dedication of the new high tech conference room as the "Gene L. Tunney Conference Room". Gene L. Tunney served as elected District Attorney of Sonoma County from 1972 to 1994. "Retired District Attorney Gene Tunney served with distinction and with the highest level of integrity," said Passalacqua.

The high tech conference room has state of the art technology to conduct video conferencing and state parole hearings. In addition, prosecutors and victim advocates utilize it to meet with victims and their families. The conference room now serves as a training room for staff members.

Retired District Attorney Gene Tunney said, "I’m honored to be recognized in this fashion and I am proud to be associated with the District Attorney’s Office.
