CORBIN EASTERLING CHARGED WITH MURDER

Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan Passalacqua announced today that charges have been filed against Corbin Easterling for the murder of his wife, Jennifer, on October 12, 2004. In addition to the homicide, Mr. Easterling is charged with spousal battery and an enhancement of inflicting great bodily injury on the victim. He was arrested today and is due to be arraigned on Monday, November 30th at 8:30 a.m. in Courtroom 1 of the Superior Court.

District Attorney Passalacqua stated, "After thoroughly reviewing the final autopsy report and the follow up investigation reports, we have determined that there is sufficient evidence to sustain a conviction at trial." Sonoma County Sheriff Bill Cogbill stated, "We have worked hard on this investigation and look forward to assisting in the upcoming prosecution."
