Sonoma County District Attorney Stephan R. Passalacqua announced today the hiring of Tracy Lamb as the new Director of the Victim Assistance Center. Her selection came after a lengthy recruitment process involving an oral board consisting of Napa County District Attorney Gary Lieberstein, Shasta County Victim Coordinator Joyce Gardner and San Luis Obispo Victim Witness Coordinator Cindy Marie Absey.
Tracy Lamb has 17 years experience of working closely with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes. She is a member of Child Abuse Council and the Sexual Assault Response Team for Napa County. In addition, Ms. Lamb has prior experience as a rape crisis counselor as well as extensive experience with crime victim issues from Santa Clara County. Ms. Lamb is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
“Tracy Lamb is a valuable addition to our staff and she will play an important role in expanding our services to crime victims,” said District Attorney Passalacqua.
