Sonoma County jurors returned guilty verdicts on all four felony charges in a domestic violence case before the Honorable Cerena Wong this Thursday.
The defendant, Alfred Pace, was convicted of assaulting his wife with a hammer. He was also convicted of threatening to kill her.
The defendant was convicted on similar charges involving the same victim in 1995. He was sentenced to 4 years, 4 months in state prison in that case. He now faces a possible state prison sentence of 16 years, 4 months in the new case. Deputy District Attorney Jane Murray prosecuted the defendant and states that the District Attorney’s Office will be seeking a lengthy prison term.
