Established by the Business Crime Prevention Task Force in conjunction with public safety departments throughout the county, the business community, and the Sonoma County Economic Development Board, this Business Crime Prevention web site is an interactive and proactive response to a rising rate of business criminal activity. The program was created with the following objectives in mind:

• To counteract the public's impression of an unsafe business community, this program actively promotes business crime prevention to enhance public confidence.

By providing education and training, together with a working partnership between law enforcement and business, we can make our communities safer for everyone. Knowing what to do in unsafe or criminal situations can decrease danger, increase the chances of catching criminals, and prevent a crime from occurring.
