Strategic Plan

The California Children and Families First Act of 1998 (Proposition 10) charges each county with the development of a comprehensive strategic plan guiding services and supports for children from prenatal to age 5 (0-5) and their parents and caregivers.

In April 2000, the Sonoma County Children and Families Commission developed its first Strategic Plan outlining goals, objectives and funding priorities to benefit the children and families in Sonoma County.  In 2006, the Commission revised the Strategic Plan and identified six priority outcomes to guide its allocations through the year 2010.
