On November 27, 1984, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors approved the Redevelopment Plan for The Springs (formerly known as the Sonoma Valley) Redevelopment Project.

The Springs Redevelopment Project Area is located between Agua Caliente Rd. and the City/County line near Verano Avenue.  The Springs Redevelopment Area extends west along Boyes Boulevard to encompass residential neighborhoods between Greger Street and Railroad Avenue.

Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program

The Board of Supervisors has approved the Commercial Rehabilitation Loan Program to advance the goals of the Strategic Plan to eliminate economic and physical blight on commercial properties in the Springs.  Business owners interested in sprucing up their storefronts or conducting a large building rehab are encouraged to apply for the program.
