COUNTY FUND FOR HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT HOUSING FUNDThe Sonoma County Community Development Commission has funds available to lend from the County Fund for Housing (CFH) and the Redevelopment Low/Mod Housing Fund (RHF). The CFH and RHF make short-term and long-term loans to nonprofit and for-profit developers for the production and preservation of affordable rental and ownership housing. In order to be eligible for funding, proposed housing developments must serve extremely low-income, very low-income, low-income, and/or moderate-income households according to specified criteria. Eligible expenses include predevelopment, site acquisition and construction costs. CFH funds are available County-wide in the unincorporated areas and RHF funds are available within specific redevelopment project areas. The links below provide information about the policies and application process for CFH funds.
