The Board of Supervisors welcomes you to attend its meetings which are regularly scheduled each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Your interest is encouraged and appreciated. Agendas and most supporting materials are available on the Board's website listed above.

The agenda is divided into two sections, plus an addendum if necessary:

CONSENT CALENDAR: These matters include routine financial and administrative actions, are usually approved by a single majority vote. Any Board Member may remove an item from the consent calendar and place it on the regular calendar for discussion.


REGULAR CALENDAR: These items include significant and administrative actions of special interest and are classified by program area. The regular calendar also includes "Set Matters," which are noticed hearings, work sessions and public hearings.


ADDENDUM: If urgent matters arise after the publication of the regular agenda, there will be an addendum. It will be posted at the above referenced website by Friday at 5:00 p.m. the week before the meeting.

Ordinance authorizing the Purchase and Sale Agreement between the County and Republic Services of Sonoma Inc., ("Republic") whereby the County will: (a) sell the Central Landfill, Central Transfer Station, Annapolis Transfer Station and Sonoma Transfer Station to Republic; (b) enter into a 75 year lease with Republic for the Healdsburg and Guerneville Transfer Stations; (c) commit its solid waste to Republic for a 20 year term upon the close of escrow provided Republic is able to obtain the necessary permits to resume disposal operations at the Central Landfill; and (d) enter into a short term operations and disposal agreement with Republic for Republic to operate the Solid Waste Assets during the escrow period, and if escrow does not close, such operations agreement to continue for up to 3 years beyond the time it is known that divestiture will not occur

Resolution of the Governing Board of the Sonoma County Public Financing Authority, providing for the issuance and sale of contractual assessment revenue bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed forty‑five million dollars ($45,000,000), approving as to form and authorizing the execution and delivery of loan agreements and bond purchase agreements in connection therewith, and authorizing certain other matters relating thereto


Resolution of the County of Sonoma approving and ratifying modifications to the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program Report, authorizing the Sonoma County Treasury Pooled Investment Fund's investment in and purchase of the Sonoma County Public Financing Authority's Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, Contractual Assessment Revenue Bonds (Taxable), approving as to form and authorizing the execution and delivery of Bond Purchase Agreements in connection therewith, and authorizing certain other matters relating thereto

Authorize County Counsel and Sonoma County Water Agency General Manager and Chief Engineer to execute amendment to legal services agreement with bond counsel Richards Watson and Gershon, raising authorized limit of services to $250,000 in order to provide ongoing legal advice as needed to the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program
