The agenda is divided into two sections, plus an addendum if necessary:

CONSENT CALENDAR: These matters include routine financial and administrative actions, are usually approved by a single majority vote. Any Board Member may remove an item from the consent calendar and place it on the regular calendar for discussion.


REGULAR CALENDAR: These items include significant and administrative actions of special interest and are classified by program area. The regular calendar also includes "Set Matters," which are noticed hearings, work sessions and public hearings.


ADDENDUM: If urgent matters arise after the publication of the regular agenda, there will be an addendum. It will be posted at the above referenced website by Friday at 5:00 p.m. the week before the meeting.

Authorize the Interim General Manager of the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District to execute:1) a contract between the District and LandPaths for $93,450 for public outings on District‑protected properties through June 30, 2010; and 2) a contract between the District and Sotoyome Resource Conservation District, in partnership with Southern Sonoma County Resource Conservation District, for $33,531 for public outings on District‑protected properties through June 30, 2010; and 3) an amendment to the contract between the District and Sonoma Ecology Center to extend the term through June 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $34,246 (an increase of $20,124) for public outings on District‑protected properties

Resolution of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District ("District") adopting a Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program for the Taylor Mountain Interim Public Access Permit Program ("the Project"); determining the Project is consistent with the 2020 Sonoma County General Plan; approving the Project, and making certain findings in connection therewith; authorizing the Interim General Manager to pursue an application with the City of Santa Rosa for vacation of a portion of Kawana Terrace and an encroachment permit for pedestrian improvements along Kawana Terrace, to pursue a license agreement with the Sonoma County Water Agency, and to execute an agreement between the District and LandPaths to coordinate the Project, in an amount not to exceed $84,374; and authorizing additional negotiations as needed to implement the Project


Concurrent resolution of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District and the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sonoma authorizing and directing the District Interim General Manager and Regional Parks Director to execute a Park Management and Planning Agreement for operations and maintenance associated with the Project, in an amount not to exceed $30,000 for the first fiscal year, and a Construction Contract Administration Services Agreement to provide construction management of installation of identified park improvements, in an amount not to exceed $200,000


Authorize the Interim General Manager of the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District to execute an amended agreement between the District and Nancy Dakin for services associated with the revision and recirculation of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Taylor Mountain Interim Public Access Permit Program, in an amount not to exceed $5,500, for a total contract amount of $47,045
