The agenda is divided into two sections:
CONSENT CALENDAR: These matters include routine financial and administrative actions, appear in the blue section and are usually approved by a single majority vote. Any Board Member may remove an item from the consent calendar.
REGULAR CALENDAR: These items include significant and administrative actions of special interest, appear in the white section and are classified by program area.
The regular calendar also includes "Set Matters," which are noticed hearings, work sessions and public hearings.
AGENDA SUPPORTING MATERIALS: Most background materials, proposed Board actions and other information are available online, linked to the respective agenda item. However, due to legal, copyright, privacy or policy considerations, not all materials are posted. Pollution Control Officer to approve Carl Moyer Grant awards to eligible
projects with concurrence from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and to
enter into contracts subject to the approval of County Counsel, and subject to
the following conditions:
1. The
Air Pollution Control Officer has determined the project is eligible for Carl
Moyer Grant funding, consistent with the Guidelines established by the
California Air Resources Board, the Policies and Procedures of the District,
and prior actions by the Board of Directors;
2. The
total funds awarded under this provision will not exceed $195,000;
3. The
Air Pollution Control Officer provides a report to the Board of Directors of
any such approved projects within 45 days of approval; and
4. This
authorization expires on June 30, 2009, unless it is continued by action of the
Board
