The BEA's quarterly newsletter, distributed throughout the Sonoma County business community, provides (1) case studies on the implementation of environmental practices from around the Bay Area; (2) programs currently being offered by PG&E, the local water retailers , and the Sonoma County Waste Management Agency ; and (3) updates on BEA news.

This series of nine how-to guides is designed to assist local businesses of all sizes improve their bottom lines by improving their environmental performance. These are specifically geared to businesses that are looking to start or enhance environmental programs, but do not know how to start.

This is the sixth annual Environmental Best Practices Report. This year's report aims to provide greater detail about what actions Sonoma County businesses are taking to address their environmental impact while enhancing their bottom line. Overall, the results of the survey were very positive with more than 80 percent of respondents conserving water, energy, and waste.
