About the Business Water Project
Description
Are you concerned about the increasing financial and environmental costs
of distributing water and treating wastewater? Save money by adopting
water-efficient, cost-effective practices!
The Business Environmental Alliance (BEA) offers FREE
indoor and outdoor water assessments for commercial facilities within
certain areas of Sonoma County.
Each assessment is provided by a contractor and includes an individually
tailored water conservation plan. Implementation of this plan is voluntary,
and the business receives follow-up assistance from the BEA to ensure
that any conservation measure it wishes to implement is successful. Find
out more about What We Offer.
Four steps are involved in the Business Water Project:
1. Sign and send in a Release
FormThis release form allows the water assessor to view your water
usage history). We encourage you to save paper by scanning your signed
release form and e-mailing the PDF to us at bea@sonoma-county.org. You
may also fax your release to (707) 565-7231 or mail the form to: Business
Environmental Alliance, 401 College Ave., Suite D, Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
2. A water assessor will contact you to schedule a water assessment at
your convenience.
3. After your site has been assessed, you will receive your voluntary
action plan detailing cost-saving practices.
4. Contact the BEA for assistance in implementing any cost-saving measure
you are interested in undertaking.
Questions may be directed to (707) 565-7257 (Monday through Friday from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or bea@sonoma-county.org.
