The Registrar of Voters Office is a division of the County Clerk's Office and is run by the County Clerk. Listed below are some duties the Registrar of Voters Office is responsible for:

  • Registering voters and maintaining the voter registration file

  • Procuring all polling places and recruiting all poll workers in Sonoma County

  • Conducting federal, state and local elections held in Sonoma County

  • Providing information to candidates on the nomination process and campaign reporting laws

  • Filing campaign statements (itemized listings of candidates' and campaigns' contributors and expenditures)

  • Providing voter registration information and related materials to candidates and campaigns

  • Numerous other duties relating to elections

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is located at:
