The Sonoma County Regional Parks Department and the Regional Parks Foundation invite the community to join them in 'Celebrating our Parks 2003', taking place Saturday, August 23.

The celebration includes free day use parking in all 40 Sonoma County Regional Parks. This is a great opportunity to visit your favorite regional park, or explore one new to you.

There will also be a 3K/10K run/walk at 8am at Spring Lake Park in Santa Rosa followed by children's races. Registration starts at 7am.

11:00am Fawn Rescue presentation
11:30am - Guided nature walk
12:00pm - North Bay Herpatology Society presentation
12:30pm - Guided nature walk
1:00pm - Animal stories read in Story Tellers Cavern
1:30pm - Guided nature walk
2:00pm - Sonoma County Bird Rescue presentation
2:30pm - Guided nature walk
