JOB CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDIES

The Recruitment and Classification Division of Human Resources is responsible for the County’s Classification Plan.  The most common type of classification studies include job class specification revisions, position reviews, new classifications and the establishment of the salary for the new classification. 

The Employee/Labor Relations division of Human Resources is responsible for the broad compensation studies related to represented/unrepresented groups.
