This notice is to all residents, businesses, property owners, and community organizations within The Springs Redevelopment Project Area (Project Area) interested in the planning and implementation of the Redevelopment Plan for the Project Area.

At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, Redevelopment Agency staff will conduct a Public Information Meeting at the Sonoma Valley Grange Hall, 18627 Sonoma Highway, Boyes Hot Springs, California, to explain the responsibilities of The Springs Redevelopment Advisory Committee (RAC), the opportunity to serve on the RAC, and the RAC election process.  In brief, the RAC includes elected representatives for residential tenants, residential owner-occupants, business property owners, business operators, and a representative of a community organization.  All elected RAC members must reside, own property, or own a business within the Project Area or represent a community organization that serves the area.  The following informational materials will be available at the Information Meeting: a map of the Project Area; a copy of the Project Plan’s Goals and Objectives; the procedures for formation and operation of the RAC; and candidate declaration forms for election to the RAC.

The subsequent Election Meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the Sonoma Valley Grange Hall, 18627 Sonoma Highway, Boyes Hot Springs, California.
The Commission invites you to attend the following meetings in connection with the RAC Election.

Esta notificación es para todos los residentes, negocios, propietarios, y organizaciones comunitarias entre el área del proyecto del Desarrollo Urbano del el Springs interesados en el planeamiento y implementación del Plan del Desarrollo Urbano para el Área del Proyecto.

El jueves 3 de noviembre del 2011, a las 6:00 PM, personal de la Agencia del Desarrollo Urbano conducirá una audiencia publica informativa en el salón Sonoma Valley Grange,18627 Sonoma Highway en Boyes Hot Springs. Explicaran las responsabilidades del RAC, la oportunidad de servir en el comité, y el proceso de elección. En breve, el RAC incluye representantes elegidos por inquilinos, dueños de viviendas en residencia, propietarios de negocios, operadores de negocios, y representantes de organizaciones comunitarias. Todos los miembros del RAC deben residir, ser propietarios, o tener un negocio entre la Área del Proyecto o representar una organización comunitaria que provee servicios en el área. El material informativo siguiente estará disponible en la reunión informativa: Un mapa del Área del Proyecto; una copia de las metas y objetivos del Plan del Proyecto; el proceso de formación y operación del comité consejero, y aplicaciones para los candidatos.

La subsiguiente reunión de elección será el jueves, 1 de diciembre del 2011 a las 6:00 de la tarde en el salon Sonoma Valley Grange, ubicada en el 18627 Sonoma Hwy, Boyes Hot Springs.
