The Appraisal Support Division monitors, records and processes property values, building permit activity, property characteristics, and assessment appeal applications. They answer inquiries regarding their work, including supplemental assessments and roll corrections.
Many Appraisal Support duties are associated with updating and maintaining various aspects of the Assessor's computerized property information management system. For example, they perform computations on property values determined by the appraisal staff, then update the property system with the resulting values. They also maintain a computerized building permit inventory for the appraisal staff, track assessment appeal applications, and input and maintain property characteristic records.
